Asset Criticality
You can use Asset Criticality to help you prioritize work in order to prevent asset failure. Asset Criticality is included on the detail page for each asset. All users with access to the Assets menu can view an asset's criticality and filter the Assets page list by criticality. Users with Asset Manager or Asset Admin user roles can also edit Criticality on individual assets.
MicroMain GLOBAL comes with three default Asset Criticality settings: High, Medium, and Low. MicroMain Administrators can edit these settings and add more settings on the Maintenance Settings tab on the Configuration page.
You can use the data import process to update criticality on multiple assets simultaneously. This allows you to update large numbers of assets quickly.

Note: You must have an Asset Manager, Asset Admin, or MicroMain Administrator user role to complete this process.
To update multiple assets using the data import process you will first download and complete the Assets Template spreadsheet, then import the completed spreadsheet to GLOBAL. You can continue working in GLOBAL while data is being imported or exported and receive notifications in GLOBAL and via email when the import or export is complete.
